  1. MacTOPS allows you to copy files over the network, whether or not you have mounted the volume to copy to or from.

  3. To copy files to a mounted volume:
  4.  
  5. 1.   Return to the desktop.
  6.  
  7. 2.   Open the local folder or disk.
  8.  
  9. 3.   Select the icon for the file to copy (the source).
  10.  
  11. 4.   Drag the file icon into the mounted volume into which you want to store the file (the destination) in the same way that you would locally copy files.

  14. To copy files from a mounted volume:
  15.  
  16. 1.   Return to the desktop.
  17.  
  18. 2.   Open the mounted volume (the source).
  19.  
  20. 3.   Select the icon for the file to copy.
  21.  
  22. 4.   Drag the file icon into the folder or disk on your Macintosh into which you want to store the file (the destination) in the same way that you would locally copy files.

  25. To copy files from a local disk or folder to a volume which is not mounted, open MacTOPS and:

  27. 1.   Open the volume into which you want to copy the file (the destination) from the Network View.
  28.  
  29. 2.   Open the disk or folder which contains the file to copy (the source) in the Local View.

  31. 3.   Select the file to copy.
  32.  
  33. 4.   Click on the “>>Copy>>” button. (MacTOPS enables the “Copy” button after you select both the source file and the destination volume.

  36. To copy files from a volume which is not mounted to a local disk or folder, open MacTOPS and:

  38. 1.   Open the disk or folder into which you want to copy the file (the destination) from the Local View.
  39.  
  40. 2.   Open the volume which contains the file to copy (the source) in the Network View.
  41.  
  42. 3.   Select the file to copy.
  43.  
  44. 4.   Click on the “<<Copy<<” button. (MacTOPS enables the “Copy” button after you select both the source file and the destination folder or disk.
